General Questions

1. What is Zazzle.co.uk?

Zazzle.co.uk is a localized version of Zazzle, specifically aimed at UK users. It offers a robust, fast, and relevant creation and shopping experience for UK sellers and buyers.

2. Why did you decide to launch Zazzle.co.uk?

The UK is a large and important market for Zazzle and the millions of independent, amateur, and large brands already leveraging the Zazzle platform as a monetization engine for their creativity. Zazzle is committed to redefining commerce, powered by the world’s imagination. This launch further reinforces our commitment to empower buyers and sellers around the globe.

3. What are the main differences between Zazzle.co.uk and Zazzle.com with respect to user experience?

Zazzle.co.uk is a version of the complete Zazzle experience, but localized for the UK market.

Main differences include:
1) pricing in Pounds Sterling;
2) localized/relevant contests, promotions, and content;
3) inclusion of VAT and customs duties in all product prices; and
4)Today’s Best, Featured Content, Featured Galleries will all be determined based on usage of Zazzle.co.uk, so a product that might not be as popular on the Zazzle.com site could be the *most* popular product on the Zazzle.co.uk site, if that’s what users of Zazzle.co.uk decide.

4. How do I reach Zazzle Customer Support when using Zazzle.co.uk?

Users of Zazzle.co.uk can make use of Zazzle’s online help center, and receive the same excellent level of customer service available to users of Zazzle.com. Email inquiries will be responded to within 24 hours. At this time, there is no international toll free number for Zazzle’s phone support center.

Buyers and the Shopping Experience

5. What are some of the key benefits to buyers?

Buyers in the UK can now experience the full Zazzle website, including Create-Your-Own and the marketplace, in a way that is comfortable and familiar. They can browse and shop for products and see all pricing in Pounds Sterling. They can know that pricing includes VAT and customs duties, and that they can expect to receive their shipment quickly, without being subjected to additional fees upon delivery. When they pay with a British credit card, they won’t be subject to transaction or currency conversion fees.

6. It’s great that pricing is now in Pounds, but why do prices appear higher on Zazzle.co.uk than they do on Zazzle.com?

Prices on the Zazzle.co.uk site are inclusive of VAT (Value Added Tax) and customs duties. You can avoid the hassle of expensive charges from the Post upon delivery. Because you can pay in Pounds, you will avoid costly credit card transaction fees. Additionally, shoppers on Zazzle.co.uk enjoy faster and less expensive shipping options to the UK and EU.

7. When will Zazzle.co.uk offer the option to pay in Euros?

The ability for customers to pay in Euros is a high priority for Zazzle, and we look forward to adding that feature very soon.

Sellers and the Earn Money Experience

8. What are some of the key benefits to sellers/contributors?

Sellers, regardless of where they are located in the world, have always had access to a global market through Zazzle.com. Now, with the launch of Zazzle.co.uk, sellers have an opportunity to reach an important e-commerce market, the United Kingdom, in a targeted and relevant way. Similarly, sellers and creative individuals from the UK who are just discovering Zazzle can use the Zazzle platform to gain immediate access not just to the UK, but to the United States market, and the world, as well.

9. As a seller/contributor, can I do everything on Zazzle.co.uk that I can do on Zazzle.com?

Yes. All of the features and functionality that are part of Zazzle.com are also part of Zazzle.co.uk. Name-Your-Royalty, Volume Bonus, Zazzle Associates Program, Zazzle Star, etc. The full power of the Zazzle platform is at your disposal.

10. If I post a product for sale on Zazzle.co.uk, will it be available for purchase on Zazzle.com as well?

Yes. A seller anywhere in the world can now add his or her content to the Zazzle marketplace once, on either Zazzle.com or Zazzle.co.uk, and enjoy the benefit of reaching a local audience of consumers in a targeted way in both the United States (Zazzle.com) and the United Kingdom (Zazzle.co.uk). Create a product once, on whichever version of the website you prefer, and reap the benefits of global distribution!

11. If I am already a Zazzle seller/contributor, what do I have to do to get my store and products to appear on the Zazzle.co.uk site?

Nothing! All of your stores and products that you’ve created on Zazzle.com are available on the Zazzle.co.uk website as well, automatically.

12. If I am a US seller/contributor, and someone buys my product from the Zazzle.co.uk site, how will I be paid?

If a US contributor earns his royalties and earnings in Dollars, and her product is sold on the Zazzle.co.uk website to a customer who pays Pounds, the contributor’s earnings for that sale are converted to Dollars and paid in Dollars. This works similarly, but in reverse, for a UK contributor who sells a product through the Zazzle.com website, with the customer paying in Dollars.

13. I’m a US seller/contributor, and I made a sale of one of my products on the Zazzle.co.uk site, but I don’t see a record of that sale in the MyEarnings section of MyZazzle; or…
I’m a UK seller/contributor, and I made a sale of one of my products on the Zazzle.com site, but I don’t see a record of that sale in the MyEarnings section of MyZazzle; Is there a problem? Are my earnings being tracked? Am I going to earn my appropriate royalties for those sales?

All of your sales and earnings are being tracked, and you will earn your appropriate royalty for all of your sales. We assure you, protecting your earnings and properly accounting for every single one of your sales is always our top concern. You’re earnings are being accurately tracked in our database. At this time, however, the User Interface for earnings across multiple currencies is still under construction. We expect to have this feature built shortly, and then you will be able to see all of your earnings for all sales, whether over Zazzle.com or Zazzle.co.uk, in one single consolidated earnings report.

This is a high priority for us, and we apologize for the delay. Until this feature is fully built, you can view your earnings in your non-primary currency by visiting the alternative domain, and logging in to your MyZazzle account from that domain. So if you are a US seller/contributor, visit Zazzle.co.uk and log into your account on that domain to view all of the sales you’ve made through Zazzle.co.uk. If you are a UK seller/contributor, visit Zazzle.com and log into your account on that domain to view all of the sales you’ve made through Zazzle.com.

14. Are referral cookies cross-domain? If someone clicks through to zazzle.com with my referral id, and then purchases the next day from zazzle.co.uk, is that an unreferred sale or does it go down to my referral?

Referrals are domain-specific, so someone who clicks on a referral on a link to zazzle.com won’t get referral for purchases made on zazzle.co.uk because the user cookies are different for each domain.

Manufacturing and Shipping

15. Is Zazzle opening a manufacturing and production facility in the UK?
No, not as part of this launch. We still are producing most orders at our facility in San Jose, CA, and we are working with shipping experts to improve the speed and efficiency for package deliveries to the UK and EU, while decreasing costs at the same time.

16. Why is Zazzle launching a UK experience but still producing and shipping orders from the US?

At this stage, Zazzle is leveraging its extensive manufacturing and production technologies and capabilities already in place in the United States. We have great relationships with our various shipping partners (Royal Mail, USPS, XPO, UPS), and we can deliver an outstanding customer experience while still producing and shipping orders from San Jose, CA.

17. Given how expensive it is to ship from UK  UK, what is the return policy?

The Zazzle Promise applies to the Zazzle.co.uk site exactly the same as it applies to the Zazzle.com site. If you don’t love it, we’ll take it back!
